The navigation of this site is awesome. The use of buildings for the navigation works well with how the site is built and also is an interesting twist on the usual navigation. Again this site uses flash to build the whole which really makes the site. The simple use of black red and white for the rest site works well with the integrated flash. Once you click the navigation you go inside the buildings which looks like it was really hard to do. This site took a lot of though and time to build and it can be seen through the extremely detail taken in every aspect of the site. The more interactive a site i, makes it more interesting to me as a passer by because it is interesting to see how they went about design such a intricate site. http://www.cafesonique.com/launch/flash.php

I like the minimal design aspect of the life i just wish his work was organized in such a way where it was more readable and easier to navigate through without having to click for the full size. i like the use of flash to give a site a little more of a design feel. I feel without the design that the site would have really no design to it as well as the type being extremely hard to read. In all the sites put together well but to centered in the page for me. Color choices work also. http://www.selftitled.ca/

This site has to much going on when you first enter it. I did not know what i was suppose to click or where i was suppose to go before so much was going on. I think it is an interesting way to show off what they are selling but it could have been done in a less cluttered way. You can not even seeĀ  the products the actors are wearing because it is way to dark, maybe they could haveĀ  a picture next to it with the clothing design. Other then flash the site has no real design to it. The background is plain and they rely on the video portion way to much. cictriz

The use of texture in the background gives the site a more rugged feel, and works better then a black solid background would. The navigation of the site is pretty basic with so sub drop done menus. The portfolio section of this website could have been designed different because the page become long with all the work on it. This artist has a alot of work and think something like jquery or flash would work better for this becuase it would be easier to navigate the vast amounts of work. In all the color choice works and everything is organized in a way where is navigate while integrating interesting graphic art.

I like how the site is laid out, but i do not agree with the color choice for the site. I don’t think the green works with the pink, black and gray colors. I like how the work is organized, it is easy to navigate as well an interesting way to contain the work in that small section. i like how each section has a separate color representing it, it makes it easy to know what section you are in as well as breaks up the sections. In all the site has a great variety to it, i just the colors need to be changed so they work better together. The portfolio navigation is the strongest aspect of this page, making it easy to get right to and navigate. E.G.G.

I have never seen a site like this, so i guess that is why i was so interested in it. The drag and drop is interesting although i feel it would not work for most web sites. It works exceptionally for how this website is set up because it is mostly all photographs. This is a Swedish site and form what i have been seeing, countries outside the United States are doing a lot of different types of web design. People from countries outside of america seem to be pushing the limits of web design by integrating flash into there signs in many different interesting ways. This site is for a makeup artist even though i would have never thought that because of how the site is designed. The site looks like it was hard to make, making me think a make-up wouldnt spend this much time or money or it. Whatever she did, it works because the site is interesting to someone who is not interested in make-up at all. filippasmedhagensund

The dstrict site also uses flash to help make the site navigate. this is an interesting twist on the usually navigation, and is rather hard to understand at first even with the tutorial in the beginning. Any site that you need a tutorial for to understand it, is not worth visiting. I want to be able to see the work of dstirct and be able to get to it quick, with this site is almost impossible to go were you want on the first try. i was trying to find the contact question to see where the site was from, but i could not even find that. A simpler solution would have worked, but the flash used is pretty interesting, just wish it worked better.

This site is very interactive allowing you to move windows around inside the page to view different things. The background of the site is very intricate, by by dulling out the color it works well with the tabs popping infront of it. I think using the city in the background helps show that he is from Seattle, WA. Making the navigation hide when it is not hovered over works well with the design of the page also because it allows for more room to rearrange the windows in which his work is shown. Again the use of flash helps make this site what it is, and in this case i feel it is not over used but well used in this kind of situation.

Web site is extremely well designed. All the details were ironed out to make this site work well, with the whole robot running the show. I like how the robot wakes up when the mouse roles over the navigation. Using the eye class to show the thumb nails of there work works well to. I also like how the whole website is housed in the rectangle shape because it reminds me of the inside of a machine as i suppose it is meant to do. The rollovers on the right side of the page are also interesting because at first I did not think they were going to do anything. It is a nice way of hiding some information at first but still having it in the page. By hiding it at first, it encourages the user to fish aorund for some more slightly hidden features.

First entering the site i was surprised by what first popped up. Once i figured out it was clickable and chose english I thought the navigation page was really interesting. The use of flash brings this whole site together, from the original navigation to looking through the rest of the page. The setup of the navigation works really well, it is easy to understand and follow making it easy for people who just came by the site. A strong use of photography also helps hold the page together. Being able to have the people pose like that makes laying out the page alot easier. In all the page uses flash in an interesting fashion making it intriguing for me.
